What's the purpose of this course?

Working with sample fabrics, you will learn to make hems, and various seams, and to apply them onto a garment.

  • Stitches for hand sewing

  • What will I achieve?

    This class will provide you with knowledge on working separately with elements and techniques for later application in a garment with a professional finish.

    What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

    Complete beginners who want to learn how to sew clothes but have no prior sewing experience should take this course. Taking a sewing machine class before enrolling in this course will be beneficial for you.

    Will there be additional home tasks to complete?

    No, but as practice make perfection, any extra work that you put on can only be beneficial to you.

    Is there anything I need to bring?

    You will need a basic SEWING KIT:

  • One-yard medium-weight cotton fabric.
  • A selection of snaps, trimming, and elastics.
  • A selection of buttons, snaps, hooks, and eyes
  • Needles, pins, chalk, thimble, tape measure, zips, threads, scissors,
