DESCRIPTION
Sew a comfortable and wearable top using a pattern that may be changed into a dress to practise working with a jersey / stretch fabric. Learn to cut, stitch, and work in a neat manner. This project is best suited for individuals who have some sewing experience.
The instructor will teach you through stretch stitching skills on an individual basis.

Note: You need to book the 6 sessions at the time you make a payment. Sessions are
non-refundable and unchangeable.

What is the purpose of the course?
The instructor will teach give and overview of stitching skills on an individual basis,
including:
How to make a simple top pattern and cut it out
Construction and sewing tools
Manipulating the construction of garment with stretch fabric
Introduction to a domestic overlocker
How to sew seams with stretchy patterns
Attaching sleeves with stretch fabric

By the end of this course you should be able to…
Using the techniques explained above, by the end of this session, you should be able to read and sew a top from a commercial pattern or/and create a dress from a top using flexible fabric. Use precise seams and hem techniques on clothing, create and finish a top or dress with or without sleeves.

Through practical demonstrations during the class, Q&A discussions and
feedback are actively encouraged
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
You’ll need to purchase fabric for your top (or dress) as well as a pattern that suits your preferences.
During the first session, you will be provided with instructions on how to select the right pattern style, fabric type and quantity, matching threads, and any specialty needles.
You must bring your purchased pattern and fabric to the second session

When I've finished, what course can I do next?
