DIY Upcycling Classes

To make and do your own garments.

For whom is this course intended?
Anyone interested in sustainable fashion who wants to give old clothing a new lease on life by transforming, adapting, or changing its shape and construction.
Materials and requirements
You’ll need previous sewing machine experience and the ability to manage fabric on your own.
Fabric scissors, a piece of manila paper, masking tape, a pencil, rubber, a pencil sharpener, rulers, and up to six old garments that you want to mend, change, modify, or convert will be required.
Additional material recommendations will be made depending on your personal clothing.
What exactly will you learn in this class?
Following a brief discussion with the Teacher Dressmaker, she will guide you through the process, step by step, based on your personal preferences and style.

Depending on what you want to accomplish with each garment, the skills you’ll learn in this session are adaptable and versatile.

Class duration is one Hour.
